Great win, Ned was excellent. WE BEAT MONTREAL!

Kids got a point each, good overall effort and got 2 points out of it. Keep it rolling, on to the next.

Gotta really like the way Nedeljkovic is playing. He's playing consistently well... and giving the Wings a chance to win every night. I definitely see him taking over the starting role in the near future if he keeps this level of play going. I think he has more athletic ability than any goalie the Wings have had in quite a while.

Nice seeing some secondary scoring from Suter again... six points in his last six games. People that claimed he was a bust are being proven wrong. He's been a solid two-way center despite his slow start to the season. There's still a lot of season left... so we'll see how he does over the long term. Hoping Namestnikov can get hot again.

Another example of Blashill ineptitude by starting Rasmussen, Fabbri and Leddy in OT. Good grief... it almost cost them the game... luckily Ned bailed them out. Still hope they replace Blashill after this season. Anybody think Torterella would be good for Detroit ?? Curious what you guys think of that scenario.

Still can't believe no GM claimed Nedeljkovic last season when he was on waivers! With the taxi squad it would've been the year to carry three goalies and rotate guys in to play games, some really dumb and shortsighted GM's out there imo. I get the Seattle factor but Ned would've been some teams best goalie had they claimed him or at worst they could've traded him before the expansion draft and gained a draft pick, oh well it worked out for Detroit so that's good.

Nice to see the Wings looking more competitive this season, hopefully they've turned the corner.

Canes mistake, Wings gain! Yeah, must be nice to have such a talented team and a great coach that the GM can make a mistake like that and still be one of the NHL's premier teams!

What I love is that Stevie got Nedeljkovic for so cheap. He only gave up the rights to unrestricted free-agent goaltender Jonathan Bernier and a third-round draft pick (94th overall) in this past year's draft. I know there were a lot of irate Carolina fans after the trade. Nedeljkovic will most likely be a building block of the future for Detroit... and with Cossa in the prospect pipeline this will hopefully solidify the Wings in net.
